This shows us that the wake of Tibetan Activism hasn't subsided and that this plight is felt around the world. What happened to the paranoia surrounding Communism? It now appears like America is over that only to support the Communists now by beating back China's unarmed opponents. Media aided shifting of this paranoia has moved attention away from communism and toward terrorism.

I have been using KDE 4 from the Kubuntu repositories on their website for about a week now. I have not yet discovered it's potential although I think it will be a powerful application when it enters maturity. Currently, I do not think it is ready for use.

1. Bad systray juju

With today's release of KDE 4.0, there comes a lot of excitement in the KDE user community. Many want it and want it right now. Therefore I'm providing simple instructions on how to install it on your existing gutsy system.

First add the following text to your apt sources located at /etc/apt/sources.list:

At the barn where my aunt feeds and takes care of her horse, there is a Rooster who fights her dog. Here's a video. The Rooster usually sits on the rafters and fly's down when the dog shows up.

Is Linux better than Windows? Who gets to decide? What issues are important enough to users, and what sways their opinion of an operating system either one way other? How much of a role does bias play in those decisions?

So Amanda has been watching me use my computer for years. She's seen the evolution of my computer usage over time as I have transitioned from OS to OS. When I started using Linux she called it the black hole for it's color and ability to gain my sole attention for hours on end, and with no tangible results, seemingly to her. I was solely using Gentoo then.
